City Hosting Online Silent Auction to Benefit the Green First Responders Monument and Veterans Park

to Benefit the Green First Responders Monument and Veterans Park

Picture of Silent Auction WebsiteGreen, OH – The City of Green is hosting an online silent auction to raise money for the Green First Responders Monument and Veterans Park.  The auction available at www.32auctions.com/greenvetpark opens at 8 a.m. on July 26 and closes at 4 p.m. August 9.  

To view the auction, go to www.32auctions.com/greenvetpark .  To place a bid, simply register with the website.  Payment for the auction items will be handled offline at pick-up.   Credit cards, checks and cash will be accepted.  All auction items must be picked up from the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. within one week of the close of the auction.  Items cannot be shipped.  

Auction items include concert tickets, amusement park tickets, gift cards and more.  See attached list.   In addition, direct donations of $50, $100 or $200 will also be accepted by “bidding” on a donation.

According to Valerie Wolford, communications manager for the City of Green, the goal of the auction is to raise $2,500 for the First Repsonders Monument and the Green Veterans Park. 

All proceeds will benefit the Veterans Park and the First Responders Monument. 

The City has launched a $125,000 fundraising campaign to complete the final phases of the Green Veterans Memorial Park in 2017.  Currently just over $88,000 has been raised or pledged. The final two elements to be completed are the First Responders Monument to honor our everyday heroes and the second Stories of Service Grove Walkway.
