GREEN, OH – The seventh annual Akron Symphony Holiday Pops Concert, sponsored by Giant Eagle Market District and DRB Systems, is Wednesday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. at The Chapel, Green Campus, 1800 Raber Road.
The Akron Symphony, under the direction of guest conductor Maria Sensi Sellner, along with the Akron Symphony Chorus and the Green High School Select Choir, will perform traditional and modern holiday music. The evening will end with a special guest conductor from Green and caroling.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. All seats are general admission. Tickets are available online at www.cityofgreen.org and in the City of Green Parks and Recreation Division’s office, 1755 Town Park Blvd., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The premier sponsor for this year’s event is the new Giant Eagle Market District in Green. In addition, long-time supporter of the Pops Concert DRB Systems of Green is a supporting sponsor.
