City of Green’s Tax Division Open Saturday, March 22 for early tax filers on its first annual Taxpayer Appreciation Day

Green, OH – The City of Green’s Income Tax Division will be open on Saturday, March 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on its first annual Taxpayer Appreciation Day. The Income Tax Division, located at the Central Administration Building at 1755 Town Park Blvd., is encouraging residents to file their taxes early.

“We want to encourage taxpayers to file their Green income taxes early,” said David Hartsook, Income Tax Administrator for the City of Green. “We also recognize that some people are not able to visit our office during our normal hours of operation.”

Income Tax Staff will be available to answer questions and to assist taxpayers with preparing their 2013 Green income tax returns. Coffee and cookies will be provided while supplies last.

Green offers e-Filing for individuals on the City’s website at www.cityofgreen.org/income-tax. In addition, all City tax forms and instructions are available to download. Tax returns can also be filed by mail or in person during regular business hours Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A 24-hour income tax drop box is located at the Central Administration Building to the left of the main entrance.

City income taxes are due on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
