Taste of Green Announces Line Up for Memorial Day Weekend
Green, Ohio (May 9, 2013) – Taste of Green is pleased to announce the exciting line-up of restaurants, entertainers and attractions for the three-day festival that will take place at Town Park Center over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27, 2013.
This inaugural lifestyle festival promises great food, fun and entertainment for all ages. Restaurants representing Green, Canton and the surrounding areas will include a variety of menu options. Admission to the festival is free and attendees may purchase a dining card at the event. Dining cards can be pre-loaded in any amount and submitted for debiting at any of the restaurant tents in the Portage Lakes Career Center Culinary Court. Tastes generally range from $2 - $6 each.
Taste of Green festival hours are: Saturday, May 25 from Noon to 8 p.m.; Sunday, May 26 from Noon to 8 p.m.; and Monday, May 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Legends Wine & Beer Garden will remain open until 11 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday for special concert presentations including appearances by Northeast Ohio news personality Monica Robbins and the Ninja Cowboys as well as WANTED: The Bon Jovi Tribute Band.
Area restaurants, caterers and food truck operators will sell special menu selections in sample-sized portions in the Portage Lakes Career Center Culinary Court. Attendees will enjoy fabulous food from:

Presented by the City of Green along with premier sponsor Akron General, Taste of Green will raise funds for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Green Schools Foundation and The Friends of Green Parks Foundation.
