Green’s Spring Trout Derby, held at Boettler Park Pond, is Saturday, May 5
Green, OH – The City of Green’s Parks and Recreation Division, in partnership with the Green Kiwanis, is hosting its annual Spring Trout Derby for Green residents on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the pond at Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road.
Children up to 12 years old are welcome to participate in the FREE event. Participants should bring their own fishing pole and bait (hot dog bites and/or corn work wonderfully). This is a free event and prizes will be awarded for a number of categories.
The event is held rain or shine. In the event of severe storms, please see the City’s website for cancellation information. Please pre-register with the Green Parks & Recreation office at 330-896-6621 or online through at www.cityofgreen.org. You will still need to check-in the morning of the derby.
