Southgate Park Observation Project

The Southgate Park Observation Project is intended for park users to document different species of plants and animals they come across within Southgate Park.  This helps the City of Green Parks & Recreation Division, as well as park users, understand what is thriving in our park!

To join the project, please visit www.iNaturalist.org and create a FREE account.  Once you have joined, you can search for  Southgate Park Observations under the Projects tab.  Once you have found us, click on "Join this project".  Once you've done this, you can start identifiying different plants and animals and post your findings to the project page.

See the directions sheet on the right hand side of the page for detailed instructions.

We hope you can join us in our efforts and enjoy the hidden gem that is Southgate Park!
