The City of Green is hosting a FREE Concert: Red, White and Old BLUE Eyes on July 8 at Central Park to benefit the Green First Responders Monument
FREE community concert in Central Park, 1755 Town Park Blvd.
Featuring Michael Sonata singing the tunes of Frank Sinatra
Food trucks. Beer Garden. Raffle Baskets. 50/50 Raffle.
Donations will be accepted to benefit the Green Veterans Park and the First Responders Monument. In addition, raffle baskets and 50/50 tickets will be sold.
Raffle tickets will be sold for 1 for $1, 6 for $5 and 12 for $10 to win a number of great raffle prizes including a four pack of Cedar Point tickets; Dollywood and Ripley Aquarium tickets; a Dine out in Green Basket; A one-night stay with breakfast at Cambria Suites; a foursome for Golf at Mayfair Country Club; a family fun basket and more.
The Women’s Fire Auxiliary will also be on hand selling t-shirts with all proceeds benefiting the First Responders Monument.
Parking is available at the Central Administration Building, Green Memorial Stadium and Central Park. Seating is available in the amphitheater or bring your own lawn chairs.
All proceeds will benefit the Veterans Park and the First Responders Monument.
The City has launched a $125,000 fundraising campaign to complete the final phases of the Green Veterans Memorial Park in 2017. Currently just over $75,000 has been raised or pledged. The final two elements to be completed are the First Responders Monument to honor our everyday heroes and the second Stories of Service Grove Walkway.
