Construction of Roundabout at Corporate Woods Parkway and Corporate Woods Circle in Green is halted for the Season; the Project will be completed in Spring 2019
Green, OH – The construction of the roundabout at Corporate Woods Parkway and Corporate Woods Circle in Green is halted for the winter. Due to the rainy fall season and the onset of cold weather, the roundabout at the intersection of Corporate Woods Parkway and Corporate Woods Circle will not be completed until spring 2019.
“We are disappointed that the weather has delayed us in completing the roundabout at Corporate Woods Parkway and Circle this season as planned,” said Paul Pickett, city engineer. “The contractor has about three more weeks of work left to complete the project but needs three weeks of dry weather and non-freezing temperatures. As we looked at the long-range forecast and the amount of work yet to complete, we opted to halt the project until the spring.”
The following traffic patterns will be maintained throughout the winter months (see map):
- Access to Corporate Woods Parkway will be available from Corporate Woods Circle off Massillon Road. The temporary access road will be maintained in this area.
- Access to Kids Play, Cornerstone, VCA Animal Hospital and Giant Eagle Market District is available fromCorporate Woods Parkway off Boettler Road. For the safety of all, please do not use the Giant Eagle parking lot as a cut through.
- Please note that Tabs Dr. may be a preferred alternative route to Boettler Road from businesses located along Corporate Woods Parkway and Forest Lake Drive.
“We know that road construction is never convenient, and we appreciate the continued patience of the travelling public,” said Pickett.
The project will resume once the weather breaks in the spring. For residents with questions or concerns, contact the Engineering Department at 330-896-5510 or email email@example.com.
