Planet Green

The Planet Green Forum , a series of seminars designed to educate and inform about the natural world that surrounds us, is a Living Green initiative hosted by the City's Parks & Recreation Division. Monarch Butterfly

Join us for the 2nd offering from Planet Green, "The Life and Decline of the Monarch Butterfly" presented in partnership with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History on July 11, 2018 at 7:00pm. This workshop  will again be led by Judy Semroc, a conservation specialist with CMNH and founder of Chrysalis in Time, the first Ohio chapter of the North American Butterfly Association. Judy has also co-authored two natural history guides, "Dragonflies and Damselflies of Northeast Ohio" and "Goldenrods of Northeast Ohio."  A former Petroleum Geologist and science teacher, Judy loves to learn about and share her passion for the natural world through hikes, interpretive programs and photography.
