Mayor and City Council Solicit Applications for Pipeline Settlement Fund Advisory Committee; Deadline to Submit Letters of Interest is June 7
GREEN, OH – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer and Green City Council are soliciting letters of interest from residents who wish to apply to be on the Pipeline Settlement Fund Advisory Committee. At the May 14 City Council meeting, Ordinance 2019-07A passed establishing the advisory committee to inform City Council about ways to effectively and efficiently spend the pipeline settlement funds remaining in the pipeline settlement fund.
Per the ordinance, the committee will include seven community members with three appointed by the mayor and four appointed by City Council. The committee will meet a minimum of three times after being appointed and present a report of recommendations to City Council within six months. Following the report to council, the committee will be disbanded. Committee members will serve as volunteers without compensation for their time.
Green residents who are interested in being considered to serve on the committee, please submit a letter of interest stating your reason and desire for serving on the committee. Deadline to submit a letter of interest is Friday, June 7 at 4 p.m. to the City’s Communications Manager by email firstname.lastname@example.org; or mail to Communications Manager, City of Green, PO Box 278, Green, Ohio 44232-0278.
