Mayor Gerard Neugebauer announces resignation of City Law Director

Diane CaltaGreen, OH – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer confirms the resignation of Diane Calta, Law Director for the City of Green, effective April 13.  Calta accepted the position of Law Director for the City of Beachwood in Cuyahoga County, and was appointed by Beachwood City Council on Monday, April 2. 

The City will begin the search for a new law director immediately.  In the interim, the City will consult with a local law firm, yet to be determined, regarding any legal matters. 

“We wish Ms. Calta all the best in her new position,” said Mayor Gerard Neugebauer.  “The City of Green, especially those of us who work closely with Ms. Calta, admire her integrity, dedication and professionalism as an attorney and employee.  Ms. Calta served our community well and guided us through a significant number of issues over the past two years; and for that we are grateful.”

Calta, a resident of Cleveland Heights, was appointed as the City of Green law director in May 2016.
