Dedication of the First Little Free Library in Green’s Central Park
is April 16 at 1 p.m.
Green, OH - The City of Green, Akron Summit Library – Green Branch, and the Green Schools Foundation are dedicating the first Little Free Library in Green on Tuesday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at Central Park, 1755 Town Park Blvd. Mayor Gerard Neugebauer along with several Green Immediate School sixth graders will fill the Little Free Library with its first stack of books.
“This is a wonderful collaboration between the City, the Green Schools Foundation and the Library to share a love of reading with visitors to our park,” said Mayor Gerard Neugebauer.
Following the brief dedication, cookies and refreshments will be served.
Visitors to Central park may take a book or leave a book. Green’s first Little Free Library is joining the more than 77,000 Little Free Libraries around the world that are sharing the love of reading, while building community.
