City of Green and YMCA Team up to Collect Items for Hurricane Relief
Green, OH – The City of Green has teamed up with the Green Family YMCA to collect items for hurricane relief.
The Green Family YMCA, 3800 Massillon Road, is the public drop off location for school supplies, cleaning supplies and personal care items to assist those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma through Friday, October 6. Items needed include cleaning supplies (bleach, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, scrub brushes, etc.); school supplies (notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, etc.) and personal care items (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, diapers, baby wipes, etc.).
The City of Green is assisting the YMCA by transporting the collected items to a central collection center organized by the Arlington Neighborhood Association along with J. Rayl Transportation to ship the items to those in need. The City is also assisting with the Green Local School’s Hurricane Relief Collection drive as well.
