The Manager of Human Resources administers the effective operation of the city personnel system, including the employment process, job classification system, compensation programs, workers' compensation, employee benefits, and acts as a liaison with the Civil Service Commission.
Human Resources assures compliance with employment laws, develops personnel policies, manages employee relations, labor relations, and serves as a resource in personnel matters for the Mayor.
