Green Mayor Gerard Neugebauer to host three conversations
as part of On the Table Greater Akron

 

Green, OH – Green’s Mayor Gerard Neugebauer is hosting three On the Table Greater Akron events as part of the Akron Community Foundation’s annual discussion.  On the Table is an initiative, where diverse residents of age and socio-economic backgrounds, gather to share a meal and engage in meaningful conversations on how to strengthen our community. 

Mayor Gerard Neugebauer is hosting the following On the Table Events:

  • Saturday, September 28
    Diversity, Equity, & Social Inclusion

    @ Central Park Community Hall, 1755 Town Park Blvd.
    9 a.m.  – 10:30 a.m.
    This discussion is part of the already scheduled Green Community Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion meeting.
  • Thursday, October 3
    Drugs & Addiction

    @ Central Park Community Hall, 1755 Town Park Blvd.
    8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, October 3
    Our Aging Seniors

    @ The Lodge at Briar Creek, 4020 Brier Creek Parkway
    11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

“We look forward to further engaging in topics, which are already being discussed in our community,” said Mayor Gerard Neugebauer. “I encourage all residents who are interested in bringing meaningful conversations and positive change to our community to join us for a seat at the table.”
