Green, OH – The Green City Council invites the community to Get the Scoop, an ice cream social, on Thursday, August 31 at 7 p.m. at the Central Park Community Hall, 1795 Steese Road.   This informal meeting is free to attend and all ages are welcome.   Parking is available at Central Park and the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.

At the end of the brief presentation, council members will take questions as well as meet one-on-one with residents.

“These annual meetings are an informal way for residents to meet their council members,” said Chris Humphrey, City Council president and at-large council member. “We understand that regular council meetings can be very formal and this informal ice cream social is a way for us to meet with residents, so that in the future residents feel comfortable calling us with their concerns, ideas or suggestions.”

Green City Council is comprised of seven members – 4 Ward Members and 3 at-Large members.   Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 1755 Town Park Blvd.   Council members may be reached at 330-896-6604 or council@cityofgreen.org.
