FreedomFest is the City's community festival held at Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road, to kick off the 4th of July holiday season.   

Admission is a school supply to benefit Green Good Neighbors; Free Parking.

Items for donation to Green Good Neighbors' back-to-school drive:  Pens, pencils, crayons, 3-prong pocket folders, college and wide ruled spiral notebooks, college and wide ruled loose leaf paper, pink erasers, glue sticks, bottles of glue, and plastic pencil boxes.

Please DO NOT bring pets OR sparklers!

Friday, June 22 --

6:00 to 9:00 p.m. - Food vendors, beer garden, the band Kerosene @ 7:00 p.m., Inflatables and activities, tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), and more! 

Saturday, June 23
noon - 11 p.m.Fireworks.
  • Children's Activities, Food, Beer Garden, Prizes -- noon - 9 p.m.
  • Bingo provided by Greenview Senior Assisted Living from 2 - 3:30 p.m.
  • The Shazzbots (kid's music) 3:30 p.m.
  • MAPS Air Museum honors its annual Legacy Award Recipient at 5 p.m
  • Skydivers at 8:15 p.m.
  • Music TBA @ 8:30 p.m.
  • Fireworks at 10:15 p.m.*
