Staff & Personnel
Green residents and visitors are served by a Fire Department consisting of a chief and his administrative staff, 45 paramedics/firefighters respond to more than 3,000 calls per year. Green’s 3 fire stations are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing immediate response to all types of emergencies. Special teams include: Training and Fleet Maintenance, the Summit County Sheriff’s SWAT Team, and the Inspections Team, which inspects businesses before opening.
Green’s fire personnel are all certified by the State of Ohio as both paramedics and full-time firefighters. Aside from fire and medical emergencies, Green’s fire personnel are trained to respond to hazardous material operations, high angle rescue, fire investigations, vehicle extrication, underwater rescue, and confined space rescue, mass casualty incidents, and homeland security, including domestic preparedness.

The Green Fire Division offers a wide range of educational services. The Green Fire Division remains dedicated to the safety and the health of all Green residents and visitors and is prepared to respond.
