City of Green’s Central Park Farmers Market Opens for the Season on May 2;Followed by FREE Concerts in the Park
Green, OH – The City of Green’s Central Park Farmers Market opens for the season on Tuesday, May 2. The market is every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Central Park, 1755 Town Park Blvd. New this year is the addition of a weekly concert in the park from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Central Park amphitheater.
More than 17 farm vendors are scheduled to attend the weekly market throughout the summer along with one or two food truck vendors each week.
“Our goal is to bring the community together on Tuesday nights to shop, enjoy dinner and live music,” said Kim Goodhart, market manager.
The following vendors will be attending the May 2 farmers market: BJ Gourmet Garlic Farm; D’NA Maple Syrup; Fox Family Farm; Grandma’s Recipes; Hawk Meats; Island Delights; Oak Tree Hydroponics Farms; Release Yoga; Wholesome Valley Farms; and Wolf’s Waffles. Food trucks include Mission USA and NBW concessions offering smoothies, picnic style food, sugar waffles, fried veggies, donuts, and soft drinks.

The market will be held rain or shine on Tuesdays May 2 through September 26.
Green’s Summer Concert Series in the Park also begins on Tuesday May 2 with Shooter Sharp & the Shootouts, featuring Green Alumni Ryan Humbert, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Central Park Amphitheater, 1755 Town Park Blvd. Weekly performers include:
