Opens May 3 at 1 p.m.
May 4, Grand Opening Event from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Features:

  • 1.87-acre off-leash dog run
  • Large Dog area (25 lbs+): 1.3-acre large dog area
  • Small dog area (25 lbs or less): .5-acre small dog run. 
  • Water foundations for humans and dogs sponsored by Aqua, the City’s municipal water supplier. 
  • Mutt mitts and waste disposal stations donated by Pet Supplies Plus
  • Parking area

To report a dog problem or maintenance issues, call 330-896-4176. After-hours: Call non-emergency dispatch at 330-896-6610.
1. Dogs must never be unattended.
2. Children must always be under adult supervision. It is not advisable to have small children in dog runs.
3. Puppies must be at least 4 months old to enter the dog park.
4. DO NOT bring small dogs (25 lbs or under) into the large dog park area.
5. All dogs must wear a collar, current license, and be up to date on all vaccines/ inoculations.
6. Owners are REQUIRED to clean up after their dogs.
7. Dogs that persistently bark must be removed from the premises.
8. Unruly dogs are not allowed.
9. Female dogs "in heat" are not allowed in the Dog Park area.
10. DO NOT bring food (or dog treats) into the Dog Park.
11. Owners must always carry a leash. Dogs must be leashed before entering and exiting the Dog Park.
12. Violators of these rules will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of park privileges.

Come join the community of Green dedicate the Green Dog Park on May 3 at 1 p.m. Dogs are welcome.

  • Brief remarks by Mayor Neugebauer and sponsors
  • Planting of a tree in celebration of the dog park and Arbor Day
  • Ribbon cutting
  • Blessing of the animals by Rev. Katie Osier, Greensburg United Methodist Church
  • Play time for our furry friends

All are welcome to attend.

Green Dog Park Grand Opening Open House

Then join us on May 4 for a Green Opening Open House from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Stop out to explore the dog park with your pooch, enjoy treats (treats for people and dogs too!), and stop by our various doggie vendors to learn more about their businesses. Free.

11 a.m. Doga (Dog + Yoga) by Release Yoga. Some mats provided.

Memorial or Commemorative Pavers for Sale!

Our entrance walkway to the Dog Park will include a memorial walk for our beloved dogs who are no longer with us. The 4 X 8 pavers are $50 each or $60, if you'd like to include a logo (paw print or heart). Order online (click on commemorate items) or download the Dog Park Paver form.  You may purchase a paver at any time; however, installation of new pavers takes place twice a year in the spring and fall.
