City of Green Seeks Community Leaders for Leadership Initiative

Green, OH – The City of Green is accepting applications for its second Green Community Leadership Initiative class. The Community Leadership Initiative is a six-session program for business and community leaders interested in learning more about the community where they live, work, and play. Designed to foster and encourage community engagement, the program includes topics to stimulate a broader understanding of the social, economic, policy and environmental issues impacting the community, as well as provide participants an avenue to become more engaged and shape its future.

Applicants must live or work in Green. Application deadline is October 31, 2019.  The program will begin March 2020 through May 2020.  Program cost is $850.

“We look forward to engaging the next group of emerging leaders in our community,” said Mayor Gerard Neugebauer. “I really encourage residents and business leaders who are interested in becoming more involved in our community to apply.”
