City of Green's Children's Concert Series Begins June 4

City of Green’s FREE Children’s Entertainment Series in the Park
Begins Thursday, June 4

GREEN, OH – The very popular, FREE Children’s Entertainment Series will return Outback Ray Thursdays in June and July at 11 a.m. at Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road.   The popular concerts, attended by as many as 200 children and caregivers, feature a weekly interactive show perfect for kids of all ages along with their caregivers.  This year seven weeks of performances are scheduled beginning June 4 (no performance on July 2 due to the holiday weekend).  Families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy during the performance and are invited to stay and play at the park.  

This year the City has partnered with The West Side Bakery for lunch delivery at the park.   Place your pre-paid boxed lunch order by Tuesday by calling 330-899-9968.   Lunch options include: Adult boxed lunch -- Sandwich (Veggie Wrap, Turkey on Ciabatta or Chicken Salad on Croissant), bag of chips, drink (water or canned pop) for $9/each or kids boxed lunch option -- Sandwich (PB & Jelly or Turkey & Cheese), applesauce, Capri Sun for $6/each.

All performances are held in the Freda-Hunter Bates Pavilion next to Heritage Hill playground at Boettler Park.  Some picnic table seating is available, but attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.   Concerts are held rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms.    In the event of inclement weather the day of the concert, visit the City’s Facebook page at  for cancellation information.
