• Movie-in-the-Park The Movie-in-the-Park tomorrow, Saturday, July 21st will be moved inside the Community Hall (movie will be shown as soon as it is dark enough, approximately 8:30 or 9:00 p.m.); the movie is Coco (PG); Central Park, 1755 Town Park Blvd. Tables and chairs will be set up, but feel free to bring your own chair or blanket!

Green City Council Appoints New City Council Officers

2018 City CouncilGreen, OH – At the January 4 Green City Council organizational meeting, Chris Humphrey (at-Large) was elected as City Council president and Bob Young (Ward 2) was elected vice-president for 2018.       

Each year council hosts a special organizational meeting to nominate and elect the new officers to City Council.  In addition, new Ward Council Members took the oath of office prior to the start of the meeting:  Barbara Babbitt (Ward 1), Bob Young (Ward 2), Rocco Yeargin (Ward 3),and Matthew Shaughnessy (Ward 4).

City Council Committee assignments for 2018 include the following:

Finance -- Chris Humphrey, Chair; Rocco Yeargin, Vice Chair; Barbara Babbitt 

Environmental & Parks -- Justin Speight, Chair; Barbara Babbitt, Vice Chair; Steve Dyer

The first council meeting of 2018 is January 9 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers at the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Boulevard.  City Council meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m.  The second Council meeting in January is the Mayor’s State of the City Address on Thursday, January 25 at 7 p.m. at Raintree Country Club.
