City of Green’s FREE Children’s Entertainment Series in Central Park
is Thursdays in June and July
GREEN, OH – This Thursday, June 1 begins the very popular, City of Green Children’s Entertainment Series, at its new location, Central Park, 1795 Town Park Blvd., at its new time 10 a.m. The series runs through June and July with a variety of entertainers.
“Central Park is now the home of the Children’s Concert Series,” said Kim Goodhart, special events coordinator for the City of Green. “The park’s amphitheater is set up for the performances with plenty of room for all, plus immediately following the 10 a.m. performances the splash pad opens at 11 a.m. Thursdays are quickly going to become family-fun time at Central Park.”
Last year as many as 200 children and caregivers attended the performances each week, which were held at Boettler Park. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy the splash pad and play at the park, following the hour-long performances. Seating is available in the amphitheater.

Concerts are held rain or shine. Performances are moved indoors to the Central Park Community Hall in the event of significant rain or the event of thunderstorms.
