Mayor Appoints Charter Review Commission, Meetings Scheduled
Green, OH, January 9, 2019 – Green Mayor Gerard Neugebauer appoints five residents to the 2019 Charter Review Commission, approved by City Council at the January 8, 2019 City Council Meeting. The Charter Review Commission assembles every seven years to review and propose changes to the City Charter. The Commission will meet public to review each section of the Charter from January to mid-June.
The Charter Review Commission includes Green residents Susan Allen (chair), Vivianne Duffrin (vice-chair), Sherry Neubert, Ted Mallo, and Christopher (CJ) Meager.
The Charter Review Commission meeting dates will be the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month through June 12. Meetings will be held in City Council Chambers at 7 p.m. The public is invited to offer proposed changes in person during meetings, via email or mail. Proposed changes recommended by the Charter Review Commission will be presented to City Council by June 12, per City Charter. Proposed Charter changes will be placed on the November ballot for approval by a majority of the voters.
