21st Century Manufacturing, a presentation for business and community leaders, on October 5

Green, OH – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer invites business and community leaders to Building Bridges LogoBuilding Bridges for Business Engagement on Thursday, October 5 at 8 a.m. at the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.   The mayor will share an update on the City followed by a panel discussion on 21st Century Manufacturing led by ConxusNEO Director of Manufacturing Engagement Jenny Stupica.

Panel members, Lynn Zarcone, President of RJS Corp.; Jeff Klusty, Plant Manager, Ariel Corp.; and Jim Kane, President of Delco Corp.; will discuss the strength of the manufacturing sector in Green, career opportunities, the technological advancements that have become a mainstay in modern manufacturing and skills needed to be successful in this field.  Panelists will also shine a light on the types of products produced by companies right in our community. 

Building Bridges, geared toward the business community, is held twice a year to ensure open communication between Green’s business community and the City administration.

“Technological advancements have forced the manufacturing sector to change, , creating new opportunities,” said Gerard Neugebauer, mayor.  “I look forward to learning from our panelists about the changes and how manufacturing is alive and well in Green.”
