The City of Green is Selling Pavers for the New Dog Park
Green, OH – The City of Green’s Dog Park at Ariss Park, 2520 Wise Road, is scheduled to open this spring. The 1.8-acre dog run will feature a small and large dog area with a brick paver walkway leading from the parking lot to the entrance. For residents who wish to support the dog park or memorialize a pet, the City is selling brick pavers to benefit the Green Dog Park. The 4 X 8 pavers are $50 each for three lines of text or $60 each for three lines and a paw print, dog image or heart logo.
Pavers purchased by March 22 will be installed for the grand opening of the new dog park. Pavers purchased after this deadline will be installed in the fall. In subsequent years pavers will be installed twice a year in spring and fall.
The Green Dog Park is scheduled to open May 3 at 1pm with a ribbon cutting and ceremonial tree planting in celebration of the opening of the Dog Park and Arbor Day. On May 4, the City is hosting an opening weekend Open House from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. including several dog-related vendors, food, and fun. For local businesses interested in sponsoring the park or participating in our Grand Opening Event, please contact Kim Goodhart, Community Events Coordinator at 330-896-6621.
