Green, OH – The City of Green received the 2018 Outstanding Highway Project Pickle Road and SR619Award – Under $5 million from the American Society of Highway Engineers, Cuyahoga Valley Section, for the Pickle Road/SR619 roundabout.  The award is shared with the designer of the project American Structurepoint, Inc. and the contractor Karvo Companines.

The award was selected from projects less than $5 Million throughout a 21-county area of northeast Ohio that were completed in 2018.

“We are particularly pleased with the overwhelming positive response to this new roundabout and how efficiently it moves traffic,” said Mayor Gerard Neugebauer. “Our design team and contractor along with our City Engineer Paul Pickett and his staff did an excellent job and are certainly deserving of this recognition by their peers.”

The Pickle Road/SR619 Roundabout was completed in November of 2018 and is the third roundabout in the City of Green.
