Veterans Memorial Park

This park serves as a gathering place to thank, honor, and celebrate the lives of all who served "The United States of America" by creating a place of respect, pride, of hope, and a demonstration of patriotism. Annually, the Veterans Memorial Park holds the Veterans Day Ceremony in November.

On November 11, 2010, the Green Veterans Memorial Park was dedicated. The memorial is located within the Green Community Park, 4224 Massillon Road.

Through the generosity of individuals, corporations and community groups, more than $255,000 was raised to build this beautiful tribute to our veterans. View a list of our major donors.

Ways to Contribute


  1. Purchase a paver to honor or memorialize a veteran or first responder. All paver sizes are available. Fill out the Paver form (PDF).

First Responders Memorial


The First Responders Memorial design was revealed on Veterans Day, November 11, 2015. The memorial is located at the intersection of the Ribbon Walk and feature a sunken patio, memorial with water feature, seating, and landscaping.


Purchase a Commemorative Brick Paver


Brick pavers are sold throughout the year and installed before Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year. Sponsor a veteran in our community by purchasing a paver.
