What if I cannot pay my taxes in full?

The City of Green offers payment plans utilizing a service called ACH (Automated ClearingHouse) Electronic Funds Transfer.  With ACH, payments will be deducted directly from a checking or savings account on the 1st of each month.  Please note that payment plans are an option for those accounts that are current.  If you wish to take advantage of the payment plan option, you must first file City of Green tax returns for each tax year that is delinquent.  Tax amnesty will be offered on payment plans as follows:

  • If 50% of the tax due is paid at the time of the payment plan, 50% of the penalties, interest and late filing fee will be waived
  • If 25% of the tax due is paid at the time of the payment plan, 25% of the penalties, interest and late filing fee will be waived
