The City of Green Parks & Recreation is pleased to host Knit for the Needy!  This group makes afghans and other "warm items" for those in need. 

Yarn will be provided, however, participants will need to bring their own knitting needles and/or crochet hooks. Members are encouraged to make any items that they would like (gloves, mittens, scarves, hats, blankets, etc.). Patterns for various items will also be provided. 

This program is free and open to all who want to attend.  Please bring a covered dish you would like to share!   

All the materials that are produced will be donated to the Green Good Neighbors. If you cannot attend during this time frame, the City of Green will still gladly take any donations of completed warm items and/or yarn.
