This week and into next the following utility work continues:
- Dominion Energy has been onsite for the last couple of months relocating the existing gas line and installing new service lines throughout the corridor. Gas lines and service lines needed to be lowered in areas where the road is being lowered to provide better site distances for drivers.
- First Energy is relocating existing power poles. Currently this is focused on the west side of Massillon Rd.
- AT&T is also working to finalize their relocations within the corridor. This work will continue as needed with minimal impact to traffic.
- Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Please anticipate some delays.
The Karvo Companies is the the general contractor for the Massillon Rd. Improvement Project. Work is anticipated to begin, weather permitting, the week of May 26 or June 1. More details to come next week.

Dominion Energy Utility Relocation Beginning Week of February 17
Dominion Energy will begin gas line relocation along the east side of Massillon Road from Raber to SR619 the week of February 17.
- Installing new gas line and new service lines to all establishments in the corridor. When service transfers are ready to be completed, Dominion will notify those impacted prior to transfer.
- A Dominion Energy inspector will be on-site throughout the utility relocation.
- Work is anticipated to take 6-8 weeks to complete, weather depending
- Traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be directing traffic when necessary.

Tree Removal Scheduled for Monday, January 27, Weather Permitting
On Monday, January 27, expect delays as crews clear trees on the east side of Massillon Road (from Handel's to Stein Road) on Monday, January 27. Work will begin at 8 a.m. and end about 4 p.m.. Flaggers will be directing traffic through the lane restricted area. Work should be completed in one day, depending on weather
