Virtual art-A-palooza is August 15

Follow the art-A-palooza Facebook page on August 15 as we present a virtual art-A-palooza beginning at 10 a.m.

Videos of participating artists will be uploaded to the art-A-palooza Facebook page and shared on the City of Green’s and Gallery 143’s Facebook pages. These videos, directly from our local artists, will tell viewers about the artist, their work, and include links for those interested in purchasing their art.

FDA Expands Recall for Toxic Methanol-Based Hand Sanitizer

Please check your supply of hand sanitizer for products made in Mexico. On June 19, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advised consumers not to use any hand sanitizer manufactured by “Eskbiochem SA de CV” in Mexico, due to the potential presence of methanol, a “toxic alcohol”, as an active ingredient, which can cause blindness and/or death when absorbed through the skin or when swallowed.

Public Input and Feedback Encouraged at City Council

Green City Council meetings are open to the public for in-person comments on Tuesday, August 11 at 7 p.m. For those attending in person, residents will be permitted to address council during the public comments section of the meeting. Residents wishing to send in comments to be read into the public record during the City Council meeting should call 330-896-6604 or email City Council by 4 p.m. the day of the meeting.
