Stay at Home Order issued for All of Ohio

On March 22, 2020 Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jon Husted, and Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, M.D. MPH, announced that Ohio will be under a "Stay at Home" order.

The order will go into effect beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. and will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on April 6, 2020, unless the order is rescinded or modified.

New Guidelines Limit Funerals, Weddings to 10 People

Today Summit County Public Health (SCPH) offers new guidelines on mass gatherings such as funerals and weddings.

Per the new guidelines: "When it is necessary to have religious and cultural rituals related to funerals or weddings, they should be limited to no more than 10 immediate family members and practice social distancing."

The Ohio Attorney General warns the public to beware of scams in regards to the Federal stimulus checks. Know that you don’t have to sign up to get a stimulus payment. The IRS will use information from prior tax returns to calculate payment.

ODH Seek Volunteers to Join Ohio Responds

The Ohio Department of Health is looking for volunteers with medical training to join their Ohio Responds Volunteer Registry. The Ohio Responds Volunteer Registry is an online system for managing public health and medical disaster responder volunteers. It is used to register, notify, and inform willing individuals who are interested in volunteering. Learn more.

April 1 is Census Day! Green Counts!

The 2020 Census counts will be used to allocate resources to communities for the next 10 years.This will include future support for our local community as we recover from this pandemic. Please take the time to complete the census.

Need Fabric to Make Masks? Email us!

If you are a crafter or like to sew, we are looking for volunteers to make homemade masks. We have requests for more than 250 masks from local nursing facilities and residents that have health needs.

Need Fabric? We recently received some donations of fabric to make masks. If you need fabric, email greentogether@cityofgreen.org.

Have Fabric to Donate? Donate by placing in our Mask Drop Off Box or email us and we will arrange to pick it up.
