In August 2019, the City switched service providers (now with CodeRED) for emergency alerting of severe weather, emergencies and critical community communications via text or phone call.

Fire Chief Jeff Funai requests that all residents take 2 minutes to enroll with CodeRED (even if you enrolled with our previous system) to ensure there is no disruption of service. Green Alert

The City has several communication tools for residents to stay up-to-date with the happenings in Green.  

Our Town Newsletter

This publication is printed and mailed to households in Green three times a year. 

Text Messages

Registering for our Green Alert system to also receive critical non-emergency communications through text messaging.  Text GREENOH to 99411.
