In partnership with certified instructor Ralph Lorenz, Green Parks and Recreation is proud to offer Tai Chi. A form of Chinese martial arts popular for its health benefits, it is a slow and graceful form of exercise that can be done anywhere, at any time. There are many different styles of Tai Chi, but the basic moves share common principles.
Tai Chi is a great way to stay active, improve your flexibility, and build your endurance. It is also a great way to relieve stress and improve your mental health. Some of the health benefits of Tai Chi include reducing risk of stroke, heart disease and injury as well as improving circulation and balance.
Tai Chi can help you connect with your inner self and the surrounding environment. It can also help you develop concentration and mindfulness.
If you are looking for a physical activity that is gentle on your body and can help you relax and improve your mood, Tai Chi is the perfect option for you. It is a great way to get started on your fitness journey and can be used by both beginners and experienced exercisers.
