Adult Leagues & Recreation Programs
Men's Recreational Basketball League
The league will consist of a 7-week regular season with a single-elimination tournament following its conclusion. Maximum of eight teams. Each team will be allowed 10 players (max) on their roster.
WHEN: Thursday evenings beginning February 2
WHERE: Green Primary School
TIME: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30 pm
COST: $500 per team (includes referee fees). Register online or call the Parks and Recreation Office at 330-896-6621.
We will take names of any single players who want to join a team. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be placed on a roster.

Ballroom Dancing
Sitting on the sidelines when the music starts and not up on the dance floor? Dancing is one of the best ways to exercise, and enjoyable to all. Our Ballroom/Social Dancing class will cover the basic steps that will have you out on the floor and the envy of others. Learn the basic steps of the fox trot, waltz, cha cha, and swing, and put them to use at the next wedding, party, or social gathering.

Line Dancing
Line Dancing is great fun and great exercise for your entire body! The class offers easy-to-learn line dances that will progress into more challenging dances and movements. Be the hit of your next social event by busting a move on the dance floor!

Outdoor Open Court Pickleball
The courts at Boettler Park are open to the public during park hours with the following exceptions: ALL courts are reserved for the Adult Pickleball NEOPP Group Tuesdays and Fridays from 5 pm until 11 pm. For lessons, skills, and drills on Thursday mornings and/or evenings, please email kgoodhart@cityofgreen.org or call 330-896-6621 during Parks office business hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4pm).
Indoor Open Court Pickleball -- Beginning Tuesday, October through May, the indoor schedule is as follows: Tuesday and Friday at Green Primary School from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Park behind the school and enter through Door 5. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at Greenwood Early Learning Center from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. except 10/20/22 and 2/23/23. If school is closed due to inclement weather, indoor pickleball is cancelled.

About the Sport
Pickleball is a combination of tennis, table tennis, and racquetball. Played indoors or outdoors, the game is played on a half-court with a whiffle ball and teams of 2, 3, or 4. Players hit the ball with an oversized ping-pong paddle over a 3-foot net. Nets, paddles, and balls are provided. This is a free program.
Adult Co-Ed Softball
The Adult Co-Ed softball league consists of a 14 game, seven week season with a single elimination tournament in the eighth week. Double headers are played on Sundays at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Each team can consist of up to 22 players (max) per roster. Teams are required to have at least five females on the field during game play.

TIMES: 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm
COST: League fee is $450 per team. (Payment due at time of registration)

Softball Information
Fall 2023 Co-Ed 6 on 6 Indoor Volleyball League
Adult co-ed indoor volleyball is a 6 on 6 league with a maximum of eight teams. The league will run for seven weeks with a single elimination tournament happening the eighth and ninth week. Each team will consist of twelve participants (max) per roster. Teams are required to have at least three females on the court at all times during game play. Games will be officiated by a referee.
WHEN: October 18th - December 20, 2023
WHERE: Green Primary School
TIME: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30

This is a BB level of play, or high intermediate skill level league.

Adult co-ed sand volleyball is a 4 on 4 league with a maximum of eight teams. The league will run for seven weeks with a single elimination tournament happening the eighth and ninth week. Each team will consist of ten participants (max) per roster. Teams are required to have at least two females on the court at all times during game play. Games will be self-officiated.
WHEN: Spring League - Tuesday evenings beginning May 2, 2023
WHERE: Boettler Park Sand Volleyball Courts
TIMES: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, and 8:30 pm
COST: League fee is $100 a team. (Payment due at time of registration)
