Men's Recreational Basketball League
The league will consist of a 7-week regular season with a single-elimination tournament following its conclusion. The league will consist of a maximum of eight teams. Each team will be allowed a maximum of 10 players on their roster.
WHEN: Thursday evenings beginning February 3 to March 24, 2022
WHERE: Green Primary School
TIME: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30 pm

We will take names of any single players who want to join a team. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be placed on a roster.

Softball Information
Winter 2022 Co-Ed 6 on 6 Indoor Volleyball League
Adult co-ed indoor volleyball is a 6 on 6 league with a maximum of eight teams. The league will run for seven weeks with a single elimination tournament happening the eighth and ninth week. Each team will consist of twelve participants (max) per roster. Teams are required to have at least three females on the court at all times during game play. Games will be officiated by a referee.
WHEN: Wednesday evenings beginning January 12 to March 16, 2022
WHERE: Green Primary School
TIME: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30

This is a BB level of play, or high intermediate skill level league.

Volleyball Information
Adult Co-Ed Sand Volleyball
Adult co-ed sand volleyball is a 4 on 4 league with a maximum of eight teams. The league will run for seven weeks with a single elimination tournament happening the eighth and ninth week. Each team will consist of ten participants (max) per roster. Teams are required to have at least two females on the court at all times during game play. Games will be self-officiated.
WHEN: Tuesday evenings
WHERE: Boettler Park Sand Volleyball Courts
TIMES: 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm
COST: League fee is $100 a team.
Adult Spring Co-Ed Sand Volleyball registration is closed.
Summer registration will open for new teams on Monday, June 13 and will close July 15.

Line Dancing
Line Dancing is great fun and great exercise for your entire body! The class offers easy-to-learn line dances that will progress into more challenging dances and movements. Be the hit of your next social event by busting a move on the dance floor!

Ballroom Dancing
Sitting on the sidelines when the music starts and not up on the dance floor? Dancing is one of the best ways to exercise, and enjoyable to all. Our Ballroom/Social Dancing class will cover the basic steps that will have you out on the floor and the envy of others. Learn the basic steps of the fox trot, waltz, cha cha, and swing, and put them to use at the next wedding, party, or social gathering.

Indoor Open Court Pickleball is held at the following times and locations through May 20, 2022:
- Tuesday Evenings:
- Open play from 7pm to 11pm at the Green Primary School. Use entrance Number 5 of the school, in the back of the building, to enter the gym.
- Open play from 6pm to 11pm at the Greenwood Early Learning Center.
- Wednesday Evenings:
- Lessons by appointment only. Contact Parks & Rec office - Kim Goodhart (kgoodhart@cityofgreen.org or call 330-896-6621).
- Friday Evenings:
- Open play from 6pm to 11pm at the Green Primary School. Use entrance Number 5 of the school, in the back of the building, to enter the gym.
- Open play Green residents only from 5:30pm to 10pm at the Greenwood Early Learning Center.
Outdoor Open Court Pickleball at the Boettler Park Pickleball Courts is held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. until dusk. On Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to dusk, join us for lessons, instruction, and open play.
About the Sport
Pickleball is a combination of tennis, table tennis, and racquetball. Played indoors or outdoors, the game is played on a half-court with a whiffle ball and teams of 2, 3, or 4. Players hit the all with an oversized ping-pong paddle over a 3-foot net. Nets, paddles, and balls are provided. This is a free program.
