Mayor and City Council Solicit Applications for Several City of Green Boards and Commissions
Green, OH – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer and Green’s City Council are currently accepting applications for appointment to several of the City of Green’s Boards and Commissions. Applications are being accepted for the following: Design Review Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeal, Historic Preservation Commission, Parks and Recreation Board, and Living Green Task Force. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Green.
Interested citizens can apply by submitting a resume and letter of interest on or before December 8, 2017 at 4 p.m. to Kelly Lavaco at firstname.lastname@example.org or P.O. Box 278, Green, OH 44232.
Members of the Design Review Board and Planning and Zoning Commission receive a stipend quarterly for their service. All other boards and commissions are volunteer positions. Members of the Board of Zoning Appeals and Design Review Board should have experience or recognized competence in the areas of construction, architecture, or real estate. For all other boards and commissions, experience in a particular field conducive to the board appointment is encouraged and recommended.
