Updated Plan & Committee

This Plan is an update to the Long Range Plan prepared by the City in 1996 and adopted in 1997. The update of the Long Range Plan was directed by the City of Green Long Range Land Use Plan Update Committee, a group comprised of administrative staff, political leaders, appointed board and commission members, property owners, and business owners appointed by the City.

The Committee worked on the Plan for more than five months, beginning in the winter of 2004. The group-evaluated data related to existing conditions and future trends. The group also thoroughly reviewed the policies and recommendations of the existing Plan.
