The City of Green's Annual Akron Symphony Holiday Pops Concert,
sponsored by DRB Systems, is Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m.

GREEN, OH - The City of Green is hosting its fifth annual Akron Symphony Holiday Pops Concert, sponsored by DRB Systems, on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m. at The Chapel, Green Campus, 1800 Raber Road. 

The Akron Symphony, under the direction of guest conductor Carl Topilow, along with the Akron Symphony Choir, will perform traditional and modern holiday music.    The evening will end with a special guest conductor from Green and caroling.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.   All seats are general admission.    Tickets are available online here and in the City of Green Parks and Recreation Division's office, 1755 Town Park Blvd., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.    Tickets will also be on sale during Christmas at Town Park on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

"The holiday pops concert is a wonderful tradition for the City of Green and its families," said Mike Elkins, superintendent of parks and recreation.  "Music is always the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit."
