Green, OH – City of Green’s Mayor Gerard Neugebauer will present his first State of the City Address on Thursday, January 28 at 7 p.m. at Raintree Country Club, 4350 Mayfair Road.
In this year’s address, Sharing Success, Neugebauer will review the accomplishments of 2015 and share his priorities for this first year in office.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour including appetizers and soft drinks followed by the address at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public; however, reservations are requested. Please RSVP to Amy Sehm at 330-896-6602 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
As stated in the city charter, the mayor must present a State of the City address to City Council each January. Beginning in 2008, former Mayor Dick Norton began presenting the address to a larger audience of community and business leaders at Raintree Country Club. As Mayor Neugebauer begins his first month in office, he has elected to continue this format of presenting the State of the City to the community. Each year more than 250 city leaders and residents attended the event.
“I’m looking forward to addressing the community of Green and sharing the highlights and successes of 2015 as well as sharing my priorities for our city in 2016 and beyond,” said Neugebauer. “I invite all residents and business professionals in Green to attend.”
