Fall Softball Leagues

The 2016 Fall Softball Leagues are scheduled for the dates and rates listed below.  Please note that dates, times, and prices are subject to change.  Players can play in more than one league, but can only play on one team in each league.

The league will take place on Sunday evenings beginning on August 14, 2016.

 The season will consist of 8 weeks of double-headers followed by a single elimination tournament in the ninth week.  Games are held on Sunday evenings and game times are 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.

There will be no games on Sunday, September 4th due to Labor Day Weekend.

There is a maximum of 12 teams in the league.  Each team may have a maximum of 22 players on their roster.  No player can play on more than one team in the league.

The cost of the league is $350.00 per team, plus a $10.00 umpire fee per game ($20.00 per double header).  The umpire fees must be paid in cash to the umpire prior to the start of the game.  There is also a $40.00 refundable forfeit deposit due at the time of registration.

Returning teams can register exclusively from June 6 through July 1, 2016.  All other teams can register from July 5 through July 29, 2016.  To register, please call the or visit the Parks and Recreation Office.

 The managers meeting for this league will be Thursday, August 4 from 5:30p.m. to 6:30p.m. at the John Torok Community & Senior Center (4224 Massillon Road).  If a team manager cannot attend the meeting, please send a representative from your team.

The league will take place on Monday evenings beginning on August 15, 2016.

 The season will consist of 7 weeks of double-headers followed by a single elimination tournament in the eighth week.  Games are held on Monday evenings and game times are 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

There will be no games on Monday, September 5th and Monday, October 10th due to Labor Day & Columbus Day, respectively.

There is a maximum of 8 teams in the league.  Each team may have a maximum of 22 players on their roster.  No player can play on more than one team in the league.

The cost of the league is $300.00 per team, plus a $10.00 umpire fee per game ($20.00 per double header).  The umpire fees must be paid in cash to the umpire prior to the start of the game.  There is also a $40.00 refundable forfeit deposit due at the time of registration.
