Senior Bus Trips Planned for Spring

City of Green Parks and Recreation Division
is hosting three Spring Day Bus Trips for Green’s Active Seniors

Green, OH – The City of Green Parks and Recreation Division is hosting three bus trips this spring for Green’s Active Seniors (residents age 50+).  

The first trip is Thursday, March 26 to The Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh.    Cost is $25/person; however, you will receive $15 in free play and a $5 food coupon for use at the Casino.  The bus will depart Green Memorial Stadium parking lot at promptly 8:30 a.m. and arrive back at approximately 6:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.  Registration will be accepted through Friday, March 20.

The second trip is Thursday, April 9 to Ohio Amish Country with a stop at Sol's Craft Store, Wendall August Forge, and the Amish Door Restaurant.   Cost is $40/person and includes lunch.   We will depart the Green High School Stadium parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and will return to Green at approximately 4 p.m. 

The third trip is to Cleveland’s Little Italy Neighborhood for shopping and lunch on Thursday, May 14.   Cost is $35/person and includes lunch at Guarino’s Restaurant.    Shopping will include a stop at Little Italy’s Gallucci’s Market and other quaint shops in the area.   The bus will depart Green Memorial Stadium parking lot at promptly 8:30 a.m. and arrive back at approximately 4 p.m. 

All trips depart from the Green Memorial Stadium parking lot.
