Records Commission

The Records Commission meetings are held the first Monday of June and December.  For meeting information, please contact Recording Secretary Sharon Salem at (330)896-6603.

The Records Commission is mandated per Ohio Revised Code and must consist of Mayor, Finance Director, Law Director, and one citizen appointed by the Mayor.

The Records Commission for the City of Green proposes to legally, fiscally and historically protect, inventory, store and destroy records according to the retention periods hereby adopted. We propose to semi-annually review the retention periods and determine the legal, fiscal and historical value of all new records created in the interim period. An updated retention schedule will be adopted as deemed necessary by this Commission.

It is our intention to meet and follow all City, County, State and U.S. Government retention requirements. We also strive to do this for the best interest of our citizens and employees.

Members of the Records Commission

Dick Norton, Mayor

Steve Pruneski, Law Director, Chair

Larry Rush, Finance Director

Matthew Dodds, City of Green Resident

Sharon Salem, Recording Secretary
