Original Artwork by Green Artist Sharon Mazgaj is on display at
City of Green’s Central Administration Building through May

Sharon MazgajGreen, OH – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer is pleased to announce that the art of Sharon Mazgaj, a Green resident and local artist, is on display in the lobby of the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd., through May.

“I have enjoyed Sharon’s artwork for years and am so pleased she agreed to display these beautiful masterpieces for all of us to enjoy,” said Neugebauer. “One of my personal favorites [of her artwork] is on display titled Chipper.”

A total of 10 original works of art are on display including her latest award-winning artwork titled Shiny Things 2, which was awarded first place in the 2015 Colored Pencil Magazine’s Art Competition.

Sharon Frank Mazgaj, a Green-resident, has won numerous awards in both local, national and international juried art shows and has been featured in several publications including American Artist Magazine, The Artist's Magazine, Colored Pencil Magazine, Best of Worldwide Charcoal, Pastel & Pencil, CPSA Showcase and CP Treasures, Colored Pencil Masterworks. She works in several mediums including watercolor, pastels, oil with her preferred medium of colored pencils. She holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in graphic design from the University of Akron and is certified to teach art in grades k-12.

The Central Administration Building is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are welcome to view the art display during these hours.
