Local Green Photographer Displays Work in
Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.
GREEN, OH – The photographs of artist Tom Angelo are currently on display in the City of Green’s Central Administration Building as part of the City’s rotating art gallery. Since opening the new City administration building in 2009, the City has displayed art from six professional local artists as well as student art from Green Local Schools.
Angelo, a Green resident, has been a photographer for 30 years and worked as a professional photographer throughout the 1970s and 1980s. He now claims he only does photography strictly for enjoyment.
This is the first public display of Angelo’s photographs. The artwork will be on display at the Central Administration Building in the atrium, mayor’s office and meeting rooms through July. All of the displayed photographs are available for purchase at $175 each.
“There are so many talented artists right here in Green,” said Amy Sehm, executive secretary to Mayor Norton and gallery manager. “It is a pleasure to meet every one of the artists and hear the stories behind some of their works.”
For those interested in displaying artwork in the building, contact Amy Sehm at email@example.com. Artists are selected based on a number of criteria including if the art will appropriately fit the space.
