Farmers Market Begins Tuesday, July 7

City of Green’s Farmers Market Opens on Tuesday, July 7 for a 6-week season

Green, OH – The 2015 Green Farmers Market season begins Tuesday, July 7 next to the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.     This year’s Farmers Markets will be every Tuesday from July 7 through August 11 (6-weeks) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“We are excited to welcome back some favorite vendors of farmers market shoppers,” said Kim Goodhart, farm market manager.  “With a shorter season planned and beginning later in the summer, we anticipate more vendors at each market to offer shoppers more variety and selection.”

This year’s vendors include: American Serenade; Amish Country Donuts*; Bittnerbees; Brenckle Farms; D 'n A Maple Syrup; Hawk Natural Meats; Hazel and Rye Artisan Bakery; Island Delights; Kendee Candles; Kettle Crazy Kettle Corn*; Marvin's Garden; May's Produce; Master Gardeners of Summit County; NomNom Popcorn*; Sharp Farm; The Perogie Lady; and Walnut Drive Gardens.

The market will be held rain or shine; however, may be cancelled in the event of significant rain or storms.   Visit the City’s website the day of the market for cancellation information.
