How can I check the status of baseball field conditions?
In the event of inclement weather baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse field status updates can be found on the city's home page. The alert will be featured on the homepage in the center column.
Dogs are permitted in Southgate Park and must remain on leash. Dogs may also be walked at Nimisila Reservior and Knapp Recreation area. Contact the local office of the Ohio Division of Natural Resources at 330-644-2220.

The entrance for Southgate Park is located within Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road. Follow signs to Southgate Park.
All our parks open at sunrise and close 30 minutes after the sun sets with the exception of special events or scheduled activities.
