Community Improvement Corporation

The Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) was activated and utilized for the first time in 2001.  The CIC is a vehicle that can be used to effect land acquisition and sale for economic development purposes, most notably being the FedEx Custom Critical project, where property was purchased by the City and transferred to the CIC to be sold to FedEx Custom Critical to finalize the project.  Additional City-owned lands may be transferred to the CIC to further the city's goals.

Long Range Planning Committee
The Long Range Land Use Plan is a planning tool that identifies the recommended development policies for the City of Green. This plan was first adopted in 1997 and has recently been reviewed and revised in the year 2004.
