The Design Review Board reviews proposed uses and construction activities in the City with the intent of promoting high standards in the layout, design, landscaping, and construction of development. Review projects include new commercial, industrial, recreational, residential (two-family and greater), and freestanding identification signage as well as the change of use of existing structures. This Board is charged with facilitating the best possible implementation of Chapter 1298 of the City of Green Codified Ordinances: Site Plan and Design Review.

Once a project is evaluated by the Design Review Board, it is then recommended either favorably, favorably with conditions, or unfavorably to the Planning & Zoning Commission for its review and approval.

The Design Review Board consists of 5 members, all of whom must work within a variety of professional site design disciplines. These members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council and serve a two year term.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in Council Chambers, 1900 Steese Road.
