2009 Engineering Projects

There are several major engineering projects this construction season.

Roundabout

A roundabout will be constructed at Steese and Massillon Roads.  In addition, this project includes the reconstruction and widening of Massillon Road from Town Park Center to Wise Road.  For more information about this project, click here.

SR 619/Arlington Road Intersection and Widening of Arlington Road

This is a two-year project, which will begin this year.   In 2009, several buildings near the SR619/Arlington Road intersection will be demolished to prepare the area for reconstruction and widening in 2010.  This project is receiving 80% Federal funds.

Greensburg and Lauby Road Intersection

This multi-year project is expected to be completed by 2011.  This year design plans will be finalized.  Currently, the City is conducting a study to determine if a roundabout is the best option for this intersection.
